Anterior Open Bite – Double Arch

Some things we take for granted, others have never even experienced before… such as touching your front teeth together!

Patient’s old bite and new bite.

One of the coolest things about doing full mouth or full arch rehabilitations is the ability for us to correct developmental or skeletal discrepancies with our prosthetic and surgical work. This patient had an anterior open bite forever, literally only had contact on two teeth, and had limited opening due to the posterior teeth being so close together.

Before and After Smile

Due to the decay, and the desire to fix the function as well as the aesthetics, we opted for upper and lower hybrids with Zirconia. We pre-designed his temps for his new bite and made a few adjustments before going to finals after 3 months of healing. The results are stunning! Both the patient and the team were happy!
