“As white as you can make them!”
We always say how much we enjoy getting to know everyone’s personalities, but I think this patient has the biggest personality of them all! We have loved getting to know her! She came to us for her consult, and didnt have posterior support on the lower arch. Her teeth were badly flared on the bottom and she only touched on a few teeth. She had her upper crowns done about a decade ago and loved her smile on the top. She just wanted us to put back some lower teeth, and make them ‘as white as you can make them!’.
We had to redo some of her old crowns in the back on the upper arch to correct the supper-eruption and lack of restorative space. Her upper front teeth crowns had shifted, so we leveled them out to make them perpendicular to her facial midline.
We placed 5 implants on the lower arch and restored them with a Zirconia hybrid. Because her bite changed so much, and she didn’t want us to change the front crowns she loved, we had to make some adjustments to get everything to line up right.
When we finally delivered her lower hybrid, she was dancing and was so excited to finally be able to chew breadsticks at Olive Garden! When we did her photo shoot at the end of the process, she struck a pose for us at every angle!
Reconstructions like this are not possible without a partnership with an awesome lab. We are grateful to work with a lab that not only nails the final ceramics, shape, and color – but also understands the function and bite, and works with us to get all the details just right! Shoutout to @SYNrGLab for their help with putting this smile back together!
