New Smile Alert!

This patient came to us for an implant consult, after recently completing treatment with another office for an upper left implant bridge, and crowns on 8 and 9. Sadly, she was still not happy with her smile… but we were able to fix that!

It took us a few consults to really figure out what our options were, what the problems were, and what we could do to fix them. Due to her sinus positions, we were unable to do an upper right implant bridge. We also were severely limited by her reverse curve of spee – or the way her teeth actually touched together. Lack of posterior support had severely worn her lower teeth. Due to bone loss and nerve positions, we were unable to do posterior single tooth/bridged implants on the lower.

After talking about options, we ultimately decided that we could do an upper hybrid, with some sinus augmentation on the upper right to restore her function, open her bite, and improve the esthetics. We did some bonding on the lower front teeth to build them up and added a lower partial for posterior support. In just ONE DAY she left with a beautiful temporary and a new smile to be proud of! After 4 months, we added the right sinus augmentation implant into her prosthetic, and made her final prosthetic!

She loves her smile and is thankful we cheated the shade UP a bit more to B1! Her prosthetic is an ‘esthetic’ or Titanium hybrid, with individual zirconia teeth made by @SynrgLab and we could not be happier with the outcome!
