Things aren't always what they seem...

This patient is one of a kind! After years of adapting to everything life threw at him, he began his journey working in ministry. He has grown to speak with and inspire so many people. During times in his life when things were not so easy, dental care was not his first priority. When this caught up to him… he had some of the largest abscesses I have ever seen! So while his smile didn’t look too shabby before we got started… it was about to blow up on him. We discussed the possibility of saving the upper and lower teeth and using implants to replace the ones he was missing. Ultimately, we decided an upper hybrid was his best option. The lower arch, while not in the best of shape, can hold out for a bit longer after an RCT on #27.

This was a difficult surgery, working around the bone loss, but we were able to get enough implants with enough torque to get his upper arch stabilized. We did have to use some ptergoid implants to save the day!

Same Day Smiles – Temporary Upper Hybrid

Due to the sinus lifts, we have some implants still ‘sleeping’ so I am only showing his temporary teeth – but we are so happy with the results!
