Wild Skeletal Transformation

Sometimes, we get the chance to fix something that was really quite interesting. This patient had one of the deepest and collapsed bites I had ever seen! We saw him years before and Dr. Bishop did a RCT/Crown on one of his front teeth (can you tell which??) to patch him up.

A few years later, he was ready to really change his bite, smile, and function. This one was not easy, we had almost no bone to work with on the upper arch so we utilized two pterygoid implants to get him stability.

About 4 months later… here we are! Upper Titanium with Zirconia crowns, the lower arch is monolithic Zirconia.

Shoutout to Synrgy Lab for the beautiful ceramic work! We did a monolithic zirconia hybrid prosthetic on the lower – but did a titanium prosthetic with a individual crowns on the top for strength and improved esthetics.
