Upper and Lower Hybrids

Periodontal disease is one of the many reasons why we reach for hybrids for our patients with remaining teeth. This patient came to us with mobility on every one of his remaining teeth, and almost no bone supporting his remaining dentition.

Because of his mobility, he had an unrepeatable bite. That made this case very difficult. Finding the correct bite for him took a few versions of his temporaries. Due to the mobility of his teeth and the location of his upper front teeth when we met him, we struggled to get his esthetics perfect until his later temporaries.

Thankfully, after a few versions, we were able to get something we were all happy with!

In addition to a new, beautiful smile, getting to know this lovely patient was the highlight of this case.
