Veneer Replacement
How long do you expect veneers to last? 5 years? 10 years? 15? Well these lasted a staggering 20 years before finally needing replacement. Originally placed to mask tetracycline stains, and made of feldspathic porcelain, the old veneer had broken a few times due to mismanaged occlusion. I did some bonding on the lower canines based on an esthetic wax-up to reestablish canine guidance and protect the next round of anterior restorations.
I went through my typical routine here: start with whitening, let the color settle, and then take shade photographs to establish the new baseline. We re-prepped the veneers, and were finally ready for delivery. All restorations are layered eMax, with full coverage crowns on the canines to maintain the newly established canine guidance, and veneers on the incisors.
